Commercial/Industrial Electrician - EML
Nelson Permanent Placements are currently recruiting for an Experienced Electrician to work for our client who is experienced in the commercial and Industrial sectors. You will be required to Install new electrical systems, including lighting, heating and EV Chargers, to customer standards and to maintain those systems while upholding safety guidelines and complying with codes and regulations.
Our client is looking for someone with a good customer focus, being able to professional deliver on various project types, as you will be working alongside some of the biggest names in construction delivering the electrical install in hospitals, schools, offices, recycling centres while maintaining professional relationships as you represent the brand.
They offer a very supportive working environment, from office to site and ensure that the wellbeing of each team member is taken in to consideration. Our client want to develop their employees as much as possible, and they are prepared to fund additional qualifications.

To be considered for this role
* 18th edition qualified.
* NVQ Level 3 qualification.
Desirable (Not essential)
* The Ideal candidate will hold a JIB Gold Card
* City & Guilds 2391 - Inspection, Testing & Certification
* IPAF / PAT Testing or similar qualifications
* Experience in the above mentioned sectors
* Knowledge on installations and Earthing Arrangements
Responsibilities
* Diagnose and repair electrical problems in commercial and industrial electrical systems, including fault-finding, rewiring, and monitoring
* Assess the parts needed for a job and place orders for those parts
* Conduct routine maintenance and testing on commercial and domestic electrical systems, and ensure installations are to manufacturer standards+
* Rewire faulty electrical systems, such as lighting, heating systems, and alarms
* Ensure good quality workmanship which upholds company standards, complies with building codes, and follows safety requirements
* Work alone to find and present faults and concerns in electrical systems without receiving explicit direction
* Provide exceptional customer service and answer any customer questions whilst providing professional assessments and advice for the customer
* Demonstrate familiarity with NICEIC requirements You will be required to work on both new and old machinery troubleshooting and fixing any problems.
