Questech Automotive Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of an Industry leading client for an experienced Senior Technician / Light Vehicle Mechanic / LCV Technician / Technician in Charge. This is an excellent chance for a technician to join a company that offers solid opportunities for personal development and internal progression.
The Role:
You will be an apprentice trained, fully qualified Technician that has experience working with a variety of light vehicles. You will be overseeing the workshop being the lead / senior technician on site.
Working in a large fleet maintenance workshop, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of a wide range of Light Commercial Vehicles.
The Duties:
* Carrying out service, maintenance, and repair of a wide variety of fleet Vehicles.
* Overseeing the garage / technicians to make sure all work is carried out accurately and efficiently
* Working closely with the Garage Manager
* Diagnosing faults.
* Carrying out inspections.
* MOT prep
The Hours:
You will work Monday to Friday on a day shift. No weekend working and can offer different total working hours.
Pay:
Hourly rate is Circa GBP18 an hour, dependent upon experience, qualifications and hours worked. There is also a garage bonus available on top.
