My client is an award winning catering equipment specialist who is seeking a committed, hard working Field Service Technician to join the team and become a trusted member of the team. The role is a blend of servicing ice machines across the south as well as finding sales opportunities to upsell equipment to a range of businesses.
The role will become a permanent position for the successful candidate after a probationary period as a temporary employee.
Starting salary: GBP12.50 per hour. Future prospects for commission.
Hours per week: 40 hours - Flexible structure
Territory for travel: The South
As a Field Service Engineer, this may include overnight stays depending on scheduling.
The Role
To build and protect the company brands.
Meet monthly KPI's focusing on targets achieved new machine sales and site scoping
Supply management with written reports on work stream.
Work effectively with the external colleagues and partners, developing new business ideas.
Structure time and plan journeys within the region to ensure effective visits within the region.
The Person
A passion for seeking sales opportunities and developing new business.
Ability to work with little supervision.
High level organisational and time management skills and the ability to pragmatically assess and manage priorities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to deal professionally and empathetic with all clients, internal and external stakeholders.
The ability to assess customer demand commercially, alongside cost implications and to negotiate skilfully, and confidently.
Probing and enquiring mind in order to be able to explore options and fully and properly develop business opportunities and ideas.
