HR Assistant - Part time
20 hours per week (ideally over 5 days)
GBP20,000 pro rata
Our client is a not-for-profit housing association based in Luton. We have a fantastic opportunity for a part time People Excellence Assistant to support the People Excellence Manager in the smooth running of the learning and development provision.
Responsibilities:
Assist in arranging training with internal and external suppliers ensuring all appropriate arrangements are made
Support the team with the swap over to a new HR system
Liaise with team members to ensure attendance at relevant training, providing joining details and sending reminders to maximise attendance on courses
Assist in setting up training spaces and where necessary meeting external trainers and helping them prepare for their session
Record training completed and maintain individuals training records on the HR system
Maintain mandatory training matrices as required for audit processes, flagging when team members are due refresher training
Help to maintain the learning management system by setting up training events, enrolling new team members, reporting on completion rates and chasing colleagues to ensure completion of mandatory training
Monitor qualification expiry dates and arranging for requalification
Assist in evaluating the impact of training through liaising with attendees and their managers
Report non-attendance to team members manager
Assist in providing training reports and KPI data
Assist in tracking spend against budget
Assist where needed with other HR based tasks such as reference requests, license updates, chasing outstanding documents etc
Knowledge / Experience
Excellent organisational skills
Competent user of Microsoft Office - especially Excel
Previous administration experience
Good accuracy and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
