Delivery Driver

Established in 1986, Heatons Group is now one of the largest single source independent business providers in the UK. We began as a small, family-run company in Hoylake on the Wirral, supplying stationery and office supplies to local businesses. Today with 8 dedicated divisions, 3 branches and a team of over 90 people. Our business has been built on a passion for providing the highest levels of customer care. 

We require a Delivery Driver to complement our expanding Warehouse and Distribution Team at our new Head Office in Bromborough. Our delivery drivers are the face of our business and engage regularly with our clients to maintain good business relationships as well as highlighting any opportunities or service requirements to the relevant support teams. This is a physically demanding role involving some heavy & repetitive lifting.

The key responsibilities of the role are as follows:

• Loading and unloading vans
• Multi-drop deliveries
• Adhering to all road safety regulations
• Operating handheld device for signature capture
• Assisting with installation of flat-pack office furniture
• Occasionally assisting with warehouse duties

The successful applicant will;

• Hold a full UK driving licence (We can accept up to 3 points (SP30 endorsements only) there must be no DR, DD, CD, BA, NE, TT,XX or MS endorsements)
• Have a friendly, approachable manner and be comfortable developing customer relationships
• Be a reliable, team player with a good work ethic

Experience within a similar position would be advantageous but not essential.

Working hours Monday to Friday 07:00-15:30.
