Context

Corporate sponsorship and philanthropic giving are vital to the success of The Factory, which expects to attract around 850,000 visitors each year and contribute GBP1.1bn to the local economy over its first ten years.


Responsibilities

• Manage the portfolio of current individual supporters, delivering a high level of supporter experience and service

• Deliver and grow the individual giving strategy for The Factory, using insights to make informed decisions to increase loyalty and engage new prospects

• Lead public funding campaigns and develop new fundraising initiatives to engage individual donors, locally, nationally, and internationally

• Work with the Prospect Research Lead to maintain an active and viable pipeline of prospects


Stakeholder management

• Develop and maintain departmental systems and processes to support individual fundraising, including use of Spektrix CRM system

• Support the wider work of the Development team, in line with strategic organisational objectives


The Individual Giving Manager Role

• You will be responsible for meeting or exceeding annual Individual Giving targets.

• An important aspect of your work will be to establish meaningful relationships with previous and current donors, to deepen their connection with our work and their investment in culture. At the heart of the work is implementing compelling supporter journeys which inspire individuals and motivate them to donate and make sure they see the value of their ongoing support and contribution.


The Person Specification

• You possess a good combination of smarts, curiosity and friendliness, as well as fundraising verve.

• You are highly organised, methodical and thorough in keeping track of budgets, targets, events, multiple relationships, routine activities, and bespoke opportunities.
