More about the role:

Working closely with a wide variety of departments you become an expert in all aspects of data across UK Manufacturing business. You will guide best practice and ensure that documentation is created to support users.

Job Role:

This role covers the maintenance of master data and creating reporting for various areas of the business. Most of the role will be maintenance of master data to ensure it is reliable, accurate and updated in a timely manner to support day to day operations and strategic decisions.

The main responsibilities of this role will include:

* Responsible for the creation and maintenance of core data including Product Data, Manufacturing Bills of Materials, Routings and Product Costings.

* Data Accuracy, ensuring that the data contained within the business systems is in line with the official definitions as per the business function owner.

* Creation of reporting to support users across the business, including continuous improvement activity.

* Responsible for requirements gathering and understanding of business rules and processes that comprise and rely on data.

* Integrity of data to be managed and improved through identifying repeat issues and working cross functionally to develop long term fixes. Maintaining and defining data integrities as business requirements change.

* Documentation of business standards and standard operating procedures.

* Continuous improvement activity through identification of opportunities within the business to improve processes or service.

The ideal candidate will have:

* A high attention to detail.

* A self-motivating approach

* Advanced Excel skills, and comfortable with other Microsoft Office applications.

* Ability to build strong, effective relationships with users and colleagues from across the business.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

* Knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint and Power Platform (desired)
