Fixed Term Maternity Cover- January 2023 – 36 Hours

Joining us, covering a Maternity leave, you’ll report directly to the Finance Manager, leading on the effective and accurate recording of payroll and pension transactions for the Group, whilst preparing all necessary regulatory returns and statutory accounts notes required by the Regulator of Social Housing, HMRC, Pension Provides and other regulatory bodies.

You’ll play an integral role, providing accurate and relevant detailed information and ensuring all information is correctly accounted for in the genera ledger, to allow the Group Finance team to accurately report the monthly financial results to their relevant stakeholders.

With a good level of education, you’ll have worked in a Payroll related role and will hold a Certificate of Payroll CIPP and ideally, although not essential, hold a Certificate in Pensions and a Bachelors or equivalent degree in Business, Finance or Human Resources. You’ll have managed an entire payroll function independently, operating a computerised in-house payroll system and will have significant Payroll, Human Resources and / or Benefit management experience, either direct, or indirect. You’ll have excellent communication skills, along with Microsoft Office and MidlandHR ITrent HR system being desirable.
