We have a great opportunity for a Senior Support Worker to join a wonderful team , within a Supported Living service in Brentry.

About the job:

You will be working in a 4 bed supported living service for adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs and challenging behaviours.

As Senior Support Worker, your role will include:

* Support Worker duties, such as supporting with service users' daily routines and personal care; supporting service users to maintain their household, access community facilities and services, as well as leisure and recreation opportunities

* Working closely with the Service Manager to oversee the service

* Supervising and mentoring Support Workers, carrying out supervisions and ensuring good practice

* Completing and updating paperwork such as care plans and assisting with rotas

This role is 37.5 hours per week, working mostly long days with alternate weekend working.

Requirements:

To apply for this role, you should have:

* Experience working with people with learning disabilities and behaviours that challenge

* An NVQ / QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care, or equivalent

* Previous Senior experience, or experience handling Senior duties such as rotas, care plans, and leading a team

* A full UK driving license would be advantageous
