Ideal Recruit are currently working with a well established and reputable Aerospace company who have an exciting opportunity for a Chemical Process Operative.
The general responsibilities will be conducting processes such as anodising, masking, etching, pickling and pre-treatments of metallic Aerospace components.
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday: 8:00am - 4.30pm Fridays: 8:00am - 12.15pm
Pay Rate: GBP9.80P/H-GBP13.00P/H (Depending on Experience)
Temporary to Permenent Opportunity
Duties and Responsibilities
Processing of Aerospace components through multiple chemical processing tanks
Daily maintenance and housekeeping of key equipment
Ensure completion of internal route cards and internal work instructions
Ensure all health and safety protocols are followed in line with company procedure
Involvement in annual processing audits
External and internal approval audits to meet industry and company standards
Skills and Experience required
Experience of working as part of a team in addition to alone
Can assess and set daily workload to meet production schedule
A friendly and approachable manner
Flexible and willing to support company requirements
Use of overhead crane and hoist equipment
Previous experience in anodising, pre-treatments and chemical conversion coatings
