Applause IT having partnered with an exciting business who are seeking a Group IT Manager with solid experience of Microsoft technical stack as well as proven experience of strategic and operational management for their expanding team in Liverpool.
The Group IT Manager is responsible for the secure and effective operation of the existing systems, related applications, hardware and software within the Group. You will ensure that industry best practice is applied, and provide user training, support and advice to help develop business improvements using available technology.
The successful IT Manager will possess or have knowledge of:
5 years working within a senior management role
Ability to improve the operational efficiency and systems
Analytical approach with excellent attention to detail and problem solving
A confident leader with the ability to manage, coach, train and develop others
Excellent organisation skills
Understanding of complex business information and requirements
Ability to prioritise and adapt
Ability to communicate complex systems in simple terms
Ability to work to tight deadlines
Able to keep up to date with advances in technology and industry best practice
Project management knowledge and experience
Comprehensive understanding of network architecture and client/server technology
