This role is easily commutable by your own means of transport from Scarborough, Filey, Bridlington, Pickering, Malton & Driffield!
We have IMMEDIATE starts available. The company offers GBP9.50p/h whilst training. After 12 weeks you will be entitled to Kingspan Grade 4 pay = GBP10.34p/h + GBP1.42p/h shift premium- BEFORE OVERTIME. You will be entitled to a contract between 12-16 weeks of service.
Typical Duties as a Trainee Machine Operative; Training to operate various machines - Press Brakes, Cutting, drilling, punching to specific dimensions, Working with various metals, Working to production demand, Communicating effectively as part of a team, Following all health and safety rules and regulations on-site.
The Shift pattern;
* Week 1: Monday-Thursday 6:00am-2:00pm and Friday 6:00am-1:00pm
* Week 2: Monday- Thursday 2:00pm-10:00pm and Friday 1:00pm-8:00pm
Kingspan have great opportunities to gain training and FREE internal licences. Kingspan offer lots of opportunity for progression within, giving you the chance to work on different machinery and gain vast amount of experience across the manufacturing facility. Even throughout the pandemic last year, Kingspan took 41 Castle Employees on a permanent contract after a 12 week probationary period. All permanent staff at the end of last year received up to GBP2,000 bonus at Christmas as a thank you and hitting all KPI's. All candidates received a pay increase and were enrolled into their leading pension scheme.
