An exciting opportunity has arisen for a well organised, process driven Administrator to join our Grimsby based clients HR Team. The role will be involved in all aspects of the client's HR including; recruitment, induction, probation, appraisal reviews, absence and employee relations. This role will provide an opportunity to develop processes and systems to ensure excellent customer service is provided.

The right person for this role will have strong administration skills, be meticulous in their attention to detail and possess the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.

The role will be 25 hours a week, alternating each week between morning and afternoons, an element of flexibility is required.

Main duties & responsibilities

*

Undertake general office duties, such as, emailing, photocopying, etc.

*

Maintain all filing systems, both electronic and manual, including archiving.

*

Input daily, all relevant employee data into bespoke databases.

*

Typing, minutes, letters, reports, etc.

*

Produce spreadsheets, databases, and documents within the agreed timescales.

*

Input all relevant data into the Human Resource and HR Managers monthly.

*

Complete all recruitment, selection and new starter set up.

*

Maintain, both electronic and manual employee data in line with General Data Protection Regulations.

*

Implement the safe storage, archiving and destruction of employee data both manually and electronically, in line with the General Data Protection Regulations.

*

Provide highly confidential word-processing, clerical, and administrative.

*

Conduct quarterly audits on personnel.

*

Maintain and update the client's databases e.g., employee registers.

*

Maintain telephone support.

Requirements/Skills

*

Strong administrative skills.

*

Minimum of 3 GCSE's grade C or above (or equivalent) must include English and Maths.

*

NVQ Level 2 Business Administration or equivalent is desirable.

*

Excellent organisational skills.

*

Ability to prioritise workload effectively to meet deadlines.

*

Excellent time management skills.

*

Ability to maintain confidentiality.

*

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

*

Ability to work accurately with good attention to detail.

*

Experience of working with Microsoft packages.

*

Flexible approach to working hours.
