This is a super role for somebody with building or construction experience or surveying experience related to the building industry or surveying experience within building.

The role would also suit a CAD operator who would rather be out on the road thank stuck in an office, or, maybe you have been in construction and do not want to work on site physically any longer.

You would be responsible for surveying an array of works including the installation, removal, and relocation of equipment in a variety of sites, shops, etc as well as other building and construction projects.

Once on site, you would create a hand drawn sketch of the site area that would be worked on with dimensions, ready to be sent to the Technical department team once you have completed the survey. You would also need to take photographs to back up your drawing. On average a sit visit takes approximately 2.5 hours.

The area to be covered is the south of the UK, surveying sites from approximately Birmingham and under and out to Penzance. On average there would only be approximately one or two per day and these would be allocated wisely to keep travelling down.

Being field based you would spend the working days travelling to the relevant sites and would manage your time efficiently, giving enough time to write the surveys up either on the day or the next working day.
