Transaction Manager

TRANSACTION MANAGER

Standout individual required by fast-growing Private Equity/Investment business to negotiate acquisitions from vendors (often Small Medium Enterprises retiring founders).

THE ROLE

The role requires:

- An assessment of a target company’s desirability, having regard to the Investment company’s acquisition criteria
- An assessment of the target company’s acquisition debt capacity, historic financial and forecast performance and balance sheet
- Assess the likelihood of a successful transaction conclusion
- Ability to interact well with vendors and their advisors
- Negotiate offers and finalise detailed Heads of Terms

REQUIREMENTS

Prerequisites:

- Creativity

- Numeracy evidenced by a relevant accountancy qualification, including ideally modelling skills or experience in assessing business financials

- Familiarity with Share Purchase and Shareholder Agreements and Intercreditor features

- Tenacity

- Debt funding and sourcing experience or knowledge

- Ability to produce credible fundraising business plan to a high standard

- Ability to perform commercial and financial due diligence on prospective acquisition targets

- Possible applicant background ex Leveraged Cashflow banker, Financial Director of Small Medium Enterprises (ideally Private equity backed)

- Corporate Finance advisory (buy side focused)

This is a key role which is both challenging and immensely rewarding with the opportunity to make a real difference and would appeal to an individual keen to have “ownership” and responsibility for an outcome of key importance to both vendors and the investment business.

Performance of the role provides for remote working

Salary c£60-70k pa (On Target Earnings £120k) plus possible Long Term Incentive Plan arrangement
