Pertemps are currently recruiting for Press Brake Operatives to work for our client based in Lincoln who are one of the world's leading names in commercial catering equipment. You will be manufacturing a variety of products to correct quality standards, usually working independently to achieve a scheduled daily or weekly programme of work.
Hours of work will be 2 on 2 off 0600 to 1800.
Salary: GBP25,000 p/a
Your duties will include:
Accurately follow engineering drawings, instructions and wiring diagrams.
Use a variety of tools, machinery, and equipment.
Build complete products once fully trained.
You may be required to work in any of the production areas such as laser, punch press, press brake operation, welding, assembly, and stores.
Work flexibly, providing cover and carrying out any other duties which may be requested.
Work as part of a team and maintain good working relationships with team members and various internal departments.
You will need to possess the following to apply:
Reasonable English and Numeracy skills.
Excellent manual dexterity and the ability to use a variety of tools and equipment.
Organisational and time management skills and the ability to assess and manage priorities.
Communication and interpersonal skills, working effectively within a team.
Understanding of production processes.
Understanding of Health and Safety and security procedures.
Desirable Experience for this Assembly Operative role:
Assembly, repair, or maintenance of mechanical and electronic parts
Press Brake Operation
Folding
CNC machine operation
Forklift truck licence
TIG Welding
