A fast paced East London secondary school based in the borough of Redbridge are looking to appoint two Graduates to work as Graduate teaching assistants from September 2022. This would be a great opportunity for a Graduate who is eager to gain paid secondary school experience ahead of potentially commencing teacher training.
Are you Graduate looking to gain hands on secondary school experience in anticipation for potentially commencing a PGCE/Schools Direct in the future?
Can you commit to a full time Graduate teaching assistant role Monday - Friday beginning in September?

A top East London secondary school are looking to appoint two Graduates who have an interest in teaching to work as Graduate teaching assistants from September 2022. Each academic year this East London secondary school look to hire Graduates who are eager to gain invaluable paid secondary school experience. The Graduates are usually thinking about a career in teaching and are looking to spend the academic year developing their existing experience with young people in a school setting.
As a graduate teaching assistant the successful applicant will get the opportunity to support pupils from year 7 - year 11 in a wide range of subject areas. You will be working closely with students of all abilities and will also get the opportunity to work with different teachers and observe various teaching styles and techniques.
The school are looking to interview Graduates who have some form of recent paid or voluntary experience with young people. You may have gained this experience with young people a number of ways such as tutoring, voluntary work, youth work, sports coaching???.
The school is based in the East London borough of Redbridge and this TA role is full time Monday - Friday and will commence in September 2022.
For the past 8 years a high number of Graduates have gone on to successfully complete their teacher training after having worked as a TA at this secondary school.
Interviews will be taking place in June after the half term break.
