Assystem is an International Engineering Consultancy with significant growth plans within our Energy & Infrastructure business here in the UK.
Our Defence Platform office is based in Derby where we specialise in the management and design functions of submarine and nuclear projects within the UK.
Consequently, Assystem Energy & Infrastructure Ltd (AEIL) is looking to recruit motivated and focused individuals to join our growing team.

Assystem Energy & Infrastructure are recruiting for CNC Machinists to work at our customers site in Derby on a long-term contract basis.

Role details:
Role title - Machinist
Contract duration - 12 months
Contract type - PAYE via Umbrella - INSIDE IR35
Hours - 37 hours (3 shift - AM/PM/Nights)
Location - Derby Raynesway
Sector - Nuclear and Defence

Key accountabilities will include:

With quality paramount to the success of our business, you will be required to demonstrate compliance to relevant company, national, and international standards to a level beyond reproach.
CNC Turn / Milling Machining to a high tolerance using a mixture of 3, 4 & 5 axis machinery

Skills and experience required for this role:

Ideal candidate will have experience in 3, 4 & 5 axis machining and be level 3 qualified in engineering or hold an equivalent qualification.
Ideally this experience will have been gained?in a relevant highly regulated industry.
Experience using specific CNC machines such as WFL, Mazak VTC800, HERMLE C52 or Mazak NEXUS machines would be advantages along with programming experience.**Security clearance**
