Is a leading building products manufacturing company with a long history of producing high quality concrete products. As a drive to support improvement and growth a requirement for a Design Engineer has arisen.
THE ROLE
This role is required to provide technical and engineering support to the precast concrete business.
Reporting to and assisting the Lead Engineer in providing support to the Commercial team to help develop technically sound and cost-effective solutions to customer enquiries at pre-order stage leading to accurate project estimating, and ultimately securing of orders.
THE PERSON
You will be a Precast Design Engineer OR a Structural Design Engineer from a non-Precast background (e.g., Steelwork etc) with experience of a mixture of Building Information Modelling software (BIM), Autodesk Robot, AutoCAD 2d and Tekla Tedds
