Brake Press Operator
Dudley (DY2)
Shift time: 3 Days a week - 08:00 - 16:15 OR 5 Days a week 08:00 - 12:00
Pay Rate: GBP11 per hour
Our UK wide client currently has an opportunity for a Brake Press Operator to join their ever-expanding site in Dudley. As a Brake Press Operator, your main objective will include operating Brake presses liaising with other departments, on lasers and the welding department.
Your main duties will include:
* Operate press brake machine
* Check dimensions and angle using Vernier callipers and angle measurers
* Produce parts for welders
* Ensure the workplace is kept tidy at all times
* Complete and maintain paperwork
* Check machine for defects and inform management as necessary
* Read drawings
Candidate Requirements:
* The ideal candidate will have experience of operating Brake Presses
* Be able to read from engineering drawings
* Experience of using Vernier's and protractors.
* Have experience of forming various sizes & thickness of blanks
* Previous experience in the sheet metal role
Hours of work:
* Shifts: 3 Days a week - 08:00 - 16:15 OR 5 Days a week 08:00 - 12:00
* Rate of pay: GBP11 per hour
