Software Application Support Lead
Up to GBP55,000
Milton Keynes Area
Note: This is a Hybrid role with regular visits to the site. Suitable candidates will be within 1 hour and a half commute of Milton Keynes.
Our client designs and manufactures exception security management access control products. Due to the unique markets they operate in, they are looking to double in growth within the next two years and seek a Senior Application Support Lead to help facilitate their ambitions.

What you would do as our Application Support Team Leader
We are seeking someone with excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills to lead an R&D Application Support team, working with their global divisions and customers to support their products.
You'll bring team leader or line management experience to support workload prioritisation within the team and facilitate and coordinate support activities across R&D teams and the business.
Our clients platform comprises software and hardware solutions in web, desktop and device-based environments.
The skills and experience you need
We are looking for someone who:
* Has industry experience working in an application support team/environment, preferably having performed hands-on, with experience at senior or leader level.
* Has experience in people development, reviewing performance and setting realistic development goals and training plans.
* Is experienced in recruiting and evaluating technical expertise.
* Is familiar with Kanban or equivalent Agile/workload management approaches.
* Has strong technology awareness within the IT / Software field.
* Has proven experience with ticket or issue management systems (such as Jira), including SLAs.
Finally, we'd be delighted if you can offer any experience with:
* Agile or ITIL Service Management.
* Project Management experience.
* Any development/coding experience (ideally with .NET)
* Supporting/maintaining distributed software solutions.
* Working within DevOps teams/environments.
* Any Cloud based technologies or SaaS solutions.
