We are currently recruiting for a Children's homes based within Derby, they are currently looking for a Deputy Manager to keep with the amazing reputation for their work within Children's homes.
Arguably one of the most diverse roles in our children's homes.
As a Deputy you will need to be as effective at caring for children as you are at supporting with paperwork and taking more strategic view of the home in order to support the homes manager. You will assist in overseeing, instructing and guiding the staff team.
Deputies will work shifts in the home, as well as undertaking administrative and paperwork tasks. This could include planning rotas, completing staff supervisions, assisting in recruitment or the assessment of referrals for new children.
A real willingness to get stuck in, and be instrumental in all aspects of the home life is really important.
Skills & Experience Needed:
* Candidates must have experience in Children's residential care.
* Must have the Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare / Level 4 Children and Young People's Families Practitioner [or equivalent].
* All candidates must be drivers.
Benefits
* Salary banding is GBP24,000 - GBP25,500 p.a, dependent on qualifications and experience.
* Plus sleeps GBP62.64 per night, and bonuses (approx. GBP1,500p.a)
