The Company
Our client is a world leader specialist Manufacturing company with a fantastic reputation in industry. They are currently seeking a Purchasing Administrator/Assistant to work in the procurement and purchasing department. You will be assisting with the procurement of goods, materials and components.
The Role
My client is looking for an Purchasing Administrator/Assistant that is able to effectively communicate with suppliers and internal departs to ensure the timely delivery of materials and components.
The responsibilities are listed below:
• Generate purchase requirements from MRP. Analyse and review the needs prior to placing orders
• Print and place purchase orders by post or e-mail
• Integrate and assist the purchasing team with everyday duties. To cross check all purchase orders with acknowledgements.
• Expedite late deliveries and maintain revised delivery dates in the system
• Prepare and type correspondence, debit notes on supplier returns, letters, reports and advice notes.
The Candidate
1. Must be experienced in an administration role
2. Ideally have experience in a technical environment (worked in manufacturing, engineering or for a supplier)
3. Ideally have worked with the purchasing of components or materials but not essential just have administration experience.
The Package
The salary offered for this position is GBP20,000 - GBP25,000
