Acoustic Testing Engineer
NOVA Acoustics Ltd is one of the UK's leading acoustic consultancy and sound testing organizations. We are looking to appoint an acoustic testing engineer to aid with the day to day field testing for our acoustic consultancy and sound testing work in Yorkshire and the North East.
The primarily field-based role will have the following duties:
* UKAS Accredited Sound Insulation Testing
* Building Acoustics Testing, Diagnostics & Design
* Environmental noise measurement and data analysis
The successful candidate should have:
* Full training will be provided in-house to the candidate and no prior experience is necessary.
* Ideally experience sound insulation testing and undertaking environmental noise measurements
* A Degree or similar, preferably in acoustics, physics, mechanical engineering or music technology; (not essential)
* Professional membership to the IOA, TechIOA, Associate member; (not essential)
* Willingness to learn and work as part of a team;
* Ability to manage time, resources and projects effectively;
* Driving licence essential; and
* Excellent IT, oral and written communication skills.

Role Information:
* Based from Leeds Office or Home.
* Working week: 5 Day working week. Flexible 40 hours per week (based on workload) with hours worked to vary between 07:30 - 18:00. Overtime Optional.
* Length of appointment: Permanent
* Probation period: 6 months
* Annual leave: 20 days plus public holidays
