Our public sector client are looking for a People Engagement Officer initially on an immediate start temporary basis with the opportunity to apply for the permanent post August 2022.
Your new role
Your role will be to partner with key stakeholders across the business and wider community to develop a Positive Action plan as part of the wider ED&I scheme and design and develop initiatives to reach under-represented groups. You will work to understand what may prevent under-represented groups accessing employment with the business and research, design and measure the impact of positive action with the specific aim of increasing diversity in the workforce.
You will promote the business as an employer of choice within under-represented communities and increase confidence and promote inclusiveness by liaising with key individuals and attending meetings and events. This is a full time position with flexible hybrid working.
Initially this position is an immediate start temporary role and you will have the opportunity to apply for the permanent post from August 2022 if suitable.
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this post our client are looking for an experienced People Engagement/Workforce Diversity Officer who has experience in analysing data in order to identify trends and patterns and have a proven understanding of how data can be used to provide solutions and recommendations for future campaigns. You will have experience of engaging with different communities, promoting progression and opportunity and experience of managing physical and human resources to time, budget and quality outcomes to achieve organisational strategies and objectives.
