JOB DESCRIPTION: Service Manager : adhesive application machinery, PPMA, capital equipment
This is a Service Manager role managing a small team of Field Service Engineers who are covering the UK and a small team of office based Technical Support people.
You will targeted to lead and manage the team and to improve customer satisfaction by liaising with clients, the companies sales team and its manufacturing sites in Europe and the USA.
You will also be expected to grow the team by recruiting both Field and Office based Engineers in the short term.
PERSON SPECIFICATION: Service Manager : adhesive application machinery, PPMA, capital equipment
•You MUST have a proven track record as a Service Manager managing Field Service Engineers for a company that manufactures or supplies capital equipment .
• Ideally, you will have some previous experience working for a company supplying the packaging and / or converting markets but this is not essential as any service management experience with an engineering company will be considered.
• An engineering background and qualifications would also be advantageous.
• You will be organised, disciplined with excellent attention to detail skills.
