Academic Mentors
Starting date: ASAP
Location: Wandsworth
Free CPD and Constant support with interviewing
We are looking for a dynamic individual to become an academic mentor for Maths Science and English so experience as a tutor of these subjects would be highly beneficial.
The role is on a long-term basis until June with an immediate start for the right individual.
Experience of working as a teaching assistant/ Tutor (desired not essential)
Have an interest in the education sector
Have a current enhanced DBS (Or willing to process one)
A recent graduate (graduated within last 2 years) (Desired not essential)
Ability to engage with and inspire young learners

Role Summary
Mentor students for Maths, Science and English for specific pupils from years 11, 10 and 9, for catch up tuition. It requires relationship building with teachers and specific students, ability to be pro-active and confident in all 3 subjects. Mostly mentoring and supporting 1-1 or in small groups, but occasionally helping in the classroom if no students available. After school private study time will be necessary.
