ABOUT THE ROLE

Due to expansion, a new role has been created within our IT Operations Department and we are recruiting a Stock & Inventory Coordinator.

The Stock & Inventory Coordinator position will be a fast-paced role within the IT Procurement Team, with the main responsibilities organising goods in and stock management of the IT equipment whilst ensuring the asset inventory is kept up to date. You will aid with the delivery and collection of IT equipment to our showrooms across the UK, liaising with other departments where necessary. You will also complete inventory audits across the business, reporting this data into the required systems to ensure asset information is kept up to date.

Main Responsibilities:

* Use of Outlook, Microsoft Excel and IT systems for daily tasks and reports

* Managing and maintaining the IT stock room, weekly stock checks and requesting orders

* Ensuring storage areas are well maintained and tidy

* Taking delivery of equipment and managing the goods in process

* Organising the deliveries and collections of IT related products via third parties and internal transport

* Responsible for the asseting and updating of hardware & SIMS received into the inventory and back office systems

* Responsible for ensuring the effective disposal of IT assets

* Completing IT asset audits across the business and updating IT systems required

* Aiding the IT Project Coordinator in tasks required for new showroom deliveries and projects including but not limited to picking, packing & palletising equipment, organising deliveries and collections, updating the inventory and project management systems where required

* The role can be physically demanding due to deliveries and palletization of equipment

ABOUT YOU

• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Highly focused, hardworking and enthusiastic
• Ability to work independently and prioritise work
• Ability to communicate effectively with different levels of the business
• Experience with Microsoft Excel would be preferred
• Knowledge of IT ticket systems is advantageous but not necessary, as non-technical role terminology will be learnt
