It is an exciting time to be joining Draper Tools and we have a fantastic opportunity for a Supply Chain Analyst to join our Buying department.

In this brand new role, you will use your expertise to understand and evaluate our current supply chain processes, with a view to introducing improvements and efficiencies as the team embarks on the introduction of a brand new procurement management system.

What will I be responsible for?

Joining our team as our Supply Chain Analyst, you will use your expertise to understand and evaluate our current supply chain processes, with a view to introducing improvements and efficiencies as the team embarks on the introduction of a brand new procurement management system. Your daily tasks will include:

Understand and evaluate current supply chain programmes, processes and management methodology
Become the main change agent in the upgrade of our procurement management systems
Assist in the creation of new processes and methods to gather accurate supply chain data
Analyse existing and new data and implement effective improvements
Work with the Buyers to optimise inventory management procedures
Work with Import and Logistics teams to identify the most effective shipping modes and schedules
Evaluate vendor operations (e.g. freight forwarders) according to quality standards
Help foster relationships with suppliers and business partners
Collaborate with IT professionals to implement effective systems
Identify, create & track KPIs to enable efficient reporting on supply chain performance

If you have a proven track record of working as a Supply Chain Analyst or in a similar position, this could be the ideal role for you! As our ideal candidate, you will have an analytical and detail driven mind combined with the following skills and competencies:

Proven experience as a Supply Chain Analyst or similar
In depth knowledge of all aspects of the supply chain processes including inventory planning, warehouse management, international imports and shipping
Experience in data mining, analysis and reporting
Extensive knowledge of ERP and WMS systems
Excellent IT knowledge, Office 365 in particular
Analytical and detail driven mind with commercial business acumen
Problem solving aptitude
Good attention to detail
Excellent communication skills

In return for your hard work as our Supply Chain Analyst, you will be offered a salary of up to GBP30,000 per annum plus a great range of benefits including:
