The Role
We are undergoing an exciting time in our evolution and now seek an experienced and ambitious Cloud and Managed IT Sales Specialist to play a key role in executing upon our commercial business plan. You'll be experienced at working directly with key decision makers, joining us with a proven reputation in the UK SME market. With the marketing investment to support your work, as a confident communicator, you'll quickly work to build your own sales pipeline, leveraging established networks and industry insights.
Through a consultative selling approach, you'll work to nurture long-lasting relationships with new business clients, establishing yourself as their trusted IT advisor. Supported by the Sales Director, but working with a level of autonomy, you'll be skilled at getting straight to the heart of your clients' pain points, but also have the collaborative skills to leverage our talented technical team, enabling you to deliver commercially-savvy, solutions focussed outcomes for your clients.

Key Responsibilities:
- Identify new business opportunities, self-generating a well-qualified sales pipeline to achieve on commercial revenue targets.
- Develop client relationships, creating the opportunity to effectively sell Cloud and MIT solutions driving through to sales closure.
- Prepare for and attend face to face new business appointments across the UK, ensuring successful outcomes.
- Efficiently manage and continuously develop a healthy and consistent new business pipeline.
- Manage and nurture long-term customer relationships.
- Take a structured and methodical approach to understanding a customer's requirements, offering effective digital solutions.
- Through effective sales conversations, identify potential cross-sell opportunities for other key pillars of the business (eg. ERP/CRM solutions).
- In conjunction with the Sales Director, accurately forecast and then deliver upon your monthly sales targets.
- Build purposeful and positive internal relationships allowing you to work collaboratively across the business.
- Partner with the Director of Cloud & Infrastructure and the wider Engineering Team to understand, develop and deliver technical solutions, ensuring smooth implementation of all products and services sold.
- Develop a sound understanding of our products and services, allowing you to confidently advocate the value they will bring to your clients.
- Maintain the integrity of our CRM system and sales data in support of sales strategy.
- Adhere to internal sales processes and manage sales documentation throughout the sales process.
Essential:
- Previous Sales experience
- Demonstratable experience of communicating at C-suite level
- A proven track record of consistently meeting targets
- Experience of establishing new business pipelines and sales
- Effective relationship building skills, and a demonstrable ability to develop long-term client relationships
- Evident negotiation and communication skills
- Full UK driving licence and access to vehicle for business use
- Ability to travel throughout the UK as required
- Willingness to travel to our office in St Neots ideally twice a week
- Permanent ability to live and work in the UK without visa sponsorship
Desirable:
- Sales experience in Cloud and/or Managed IT services within the B2B market
- A degree in a business or related discipline
- Previous IT sales experience in the UK SME sector
- Willingness to undertake continued professional development
- User experience of CRM systems (e.g. Connectwise CRM)
