You'll be working for Saint-Gobain PAM Building in Telford. PAM Building is the premier supplier of cast iron products to the UK's construction market, as well as supplying customers globally.

Salary and shift pattern

The site operates a weekly rotating shift pattern of Mornings/Nights/Afternoons, which looks like;

Mornings - 6am-2.15pm (mon-fri)

Nights - 10pm-6.15am (sun-thurs)

Afternoons - 2pm-10.15pm (mon-fri)

The starting salary for the role is GBP(phone number removed) (this includes shift allowance), with grade increases over time.

For this role in particular we are looking for someone with the following qualifications and experience;

Multi skilled maintenance experience, with an electrical bias
Experience putting in place preventative maintenance methods, and a proactive mindset
Knowledge of automated systems, PLCs and inverters is desirable
Willingness to work a 3 shift rotating shift pattern that includes a night shiftWhat will I be doing in the role?

As part of an experienced and proven team, you will be a driving force to maintain and improve the performance of the plant and equipment. Your duties will be varied and no day will be the same as the last, so you will need to be flexible and react positively to change. Some of the duties include;

Proactive and reactive maintenance of mechanical and electrical machinery and equipment
Preventative maintenance inspections, carrying out work orders, repairing equipment failures, restoration of equipment, spares management and utilizing established systems (CMMS system)
Undertake root cause analysis and project work
Take accountability for and maintain high health & safety standardsWe are extremely proud to say we do our utmost to put our people first; nobody is treated as just a number.
