Responsible for providing engineering support under the direction of a Project Manager for low complex projects and directing contractors and for cross-discipline coordination with other project team members to ensure the technical integrity of the project and to complete assigned work activities across all phases of the project are delivered in accordance with BP, HSSE, and ethical standards and in compliance with all relevant statutory requirements.

About the role:
We are now looking for an early career Subsea Project Engineer to join our team in Aberdeen who will provide day to day support to regional projects.
This is a great opportunity for an early career engineer with to further your own learning and development as an early career engineer whilst also being responsible for the development and delivery of a number of small to moderate sized work packages and coordinating across disciplines to achieve safe, cost effective solutions.
Some of you key accountabilities will include:
Managing the delivery of one or more small to medium operations led subsea projects (including: modifications, repair and operational projects) throughout all project stages using the Cat C common process or appropriate alternative and HSSE requirements.
Coordinating fit for purpose scopes of work and delivers work packages in accordance with contractual requirements.
Developing project cost estimates, schedules and project execution plans.
Developing and assessing options for project delivery and documents recommendation and associated business value case as part of decision support package for each stage gate.
Coordinating project support from engineering contractors, area operations engineering squads and central subsea delivery and execution.
Reporting on subsea project delivery performance and progress.
Identifying risks and supports risk management activities throughout the project lifecycle.
Ensuring project activities are integrated into 8Q plan.
Implementing asset management of change for modification projects.
About you:
In addition to having either a degree in a relevant engineering discipline or vocational training with some offshore industry exposure you will also be able to demonstrate:
3-5 years subsea or offshore project delivery experience.
Relevant technical knowledge in subsea system design and/or operation
Ability to develop teams and manage project delivery involving both internal and external
Ability to network and influence across organisational boundaries
It would also be beneficial if you are working towards or have achieved accreditation such as Project Management Professional (PMI) or Project Management Qualification (APM).
