I am currently recruiting for an award-winning educational software house located in Northamptonshire.
I am looking for an outstanding Web Developer to be responsible for the coding, innovative design and layout of our websites. The ideal candidate is a talented developer with extensive technical expertise who can work independently to enhance and update my clients websites. Proficiency in modern JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and utilising web services is essential to succeeding in this role.
You should enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and keeping updated on the latest technology. Working closely with our technical development manager, you will upgrade, maintain and enhance my clients web presence.
Responsibilities
Writing well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices
Creating website layout/user interfaces by using modern HTML/CSS practices
Integrating data from various back-end services and databases
Gathering and refining specifications and requirements based on technical needs
Creating and maintaining software documentation
Being responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling our site
Staying plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities
Cooperating with designers and other departments to match visual design intentThe successful candidate will be/have:
BSc in computer science or a related field
Proven working experience in web development.
Top-notch programming skills and in-depth knowledge of modern HTML/CSS.
Familiarity with JavaScript, C# and SQL
A solid understanding of how web applications work including security, session management, and best development practices
Adequate knowledge of relational database systems, Object Oriented Programming and web application development
Aggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem solving skills
Strong organisational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines and budgets
