Senior Performance and Insights Analyst based at Epworth House, Derby

Permanent - Full Time - 37 hours per week.

Hybrid/Office based.

As the Senior Performance Analyst in the Performance & Insights Team, you will present information and analyses to inform performance monitoring, improve business outcomes and ensure MHA meets its strategic and operational objectives. The team is responsible for: analysing business requirements, developing accurate extraction and reporting to meet them within required deadlines. At the core, it exists to deliver business information solutions that enable MHA to deliver its vision for people to live later life well.

Your role

As the senior in the team you will blend your Power BI and technical developer skills with your wider abilities to:

  • Investigate, interpret, and document business requirements
  • Capture and model data appropriately using Power Query or Azure stack technologies from a variety of sources
  • Build Power BI dashboards and ad hoc reports as appropriate
  • Document your work and contribute to building a governed development environment
  • Support team and wider business colleagues in the adoption and use of Power BI

About you

You will be comfortable with and skilled in both the customer-facing and technical aspects of business improvement delivery. You will:

  • Have strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to take the initiative
  • Be experienced in using Power BI and the Power Platform, with exposure to the wider Azure ecosystem
  • Communicate clearly, concisely and appropriately in verbal and written communications
  • Prioritise and manage your work to meet demanding deadlines
  • Organise yourself and work autonomously, whilst at the same time be a good team member that leads by example
