Warehouse Operative managing goods in and stock
Hours - Monday - Friday (phone number removed)
Terms - Temp to Perm
Location: Kingswood, Bristol
Salary - GBP10.00 per hour
This will be a dynamic role within the small team helping the operations of the company in the warehouse area with management of incoming goods, managing stock & storage and other general warehouse duties.
The role includes, but not limited to, the key responsibilities as below and has great future opportunities.
* Goods In and stock management
* Receiving goods from suppliers to the warehouse including unloading, some of which will involve manual handling.
* Checking details of goods in accurately and either putting into stock or preparing for on-going despatch.
* Passing checked delivery notes on to be processed and liaising with office admin team.
* Re-packaging certain goods as required.
* Identifying components needed for upholstery & powder coating and arranging despatch/collection.
* Managing warehouse stock in an efficient manner, sometimes in restricted space situations.
* Assisting to provide a safe environment in line with the H&S policy.
* Helping with picking goods and preparing for dispatch (palletised & loose loading) Whilst the above outlines the prime responsibilities, as in all small businesses, flexibility may be needed to help with other tasks as and when required. Forklift training will be offered.
Skillsets required - Full UK driving licence, positive, energetic & flexible attitude
