More about your role

We are looking for a Field Engineer to support the delivery of specific projects supporting the Developments and Construction division. You will provide support in auditing and implementing IT solution services for all aspects of the delivery and maintenance of telephony, video conferencing and other IT hardware, for our diverse and geographically spread customers across the Sales and Construction functions.

You'll share your time working from home and travelling to various Development sites across the South region (Oxford/Poundbury and Southampton). You'll play a critical role in implementing new solutions, allowing the IT Field Services team to focus on keeping our customers working so that they, in turn, provide a great service to their customers, as well as maintaining and building a great reputation for IT across the Group.

More about you

You will require excellent technical skills in order to resolve a range of activities to be delivered. You will have a proven track record of dealing with a broad range of customers with varying technical skills. Experience of working in a software engineering team working on customer premises diagnosing and solving technical problems including mobile and desk top operating systems and applications is essential, we use Microsoft, Azure and Office 365. You will have experience of providing end user support for a range of technologies, including: Avaya Telephone systems (although training will be provided), Video Conferencing Equipment, Devices such as hubs, switches, and Routers and experience of Cat 5, Cat 6 and Fiber Networking.

It is essential that you have a full UK driving license and are able to travel full time between sites across the South West region.
