Salary up to GBP28,000

About the role

As Training Officer, you'll possess a wealth of Health and Social Care knowledge. You will have a passion for building a great learner experience and working with the Learning and Development Manager to:

* Delivering Welcome to Borough Care induction sessions.

* Facilitating thorough induction and refresher training to ensure our teams have the skills and knowledge to deliver the highest standards of care.

* Delivering key Health and Social Care training themes to ensure best practice and that continuous professional development opportunities are available to our colleagues

* Maintaining training records and monitoring training compliance.

* Managing the Learner Management System and working closely with Deputy and Home Managers to record and evidence how learning outcomes have improved the service.

* Conducting observations of competence, guiding managers and delivering responsive training and learning opportunities.

About you

We are looking for a personable individual who is creative and passionate about training others to deliver the highest standards of care and support. You may not have been a trainer before but may be seeking a development opportunity to share your outstanding knowledge, if so, we would love to hear from you.

You will have experience of working within the health and social care environment and have knowledge of mandatory training relevant to the Adult Social Care Sector. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships is key along with good IT and organisational skills. A driving licence would also be an advantage.
