We have a fantastic permanent opportunity for a Line Leader within Bakery working Monday to Friday 21.45 - 06.00.
Purpose of the Role:
Responsible for organising all manufacturing operations within the assigned area of responsibility, ensuring the most effective return on assets with no detriment to the operation.
Key responsibilities:
* Maintain and improve housekeeping/GMP within all areas
* Replenish line with raw materials
* To report/highlight any machinery or product related issues
* Acting as a role model for all agreed people management practices
* Managing, guiding and coaching direct reports whilst demonstrating best practice at all times
* Building effective relationships
* Responsibility for all CCP's in designated areas
* Completion of paperwork and checks with no errors
* Promptly communicating problems to Team Leader
* Provide 1st Line supervisory to the line and employees
* Responsible for 1st Line Maintenance of equipment in the designated area
* Any other adhoc tasks requested by management
Skills and Experience required:
* Experience within a similar role
* Experience in a high volume production environment
* Good communication skills
* Ability to work as part of a team
* Strong organisational skills
* Ability to plan
* Problem solving skills
* Food production experience desirable
* Food and/or other related qualification advantageous
