We are currently recruiting for Parts Advisors to work for a busy Automotive Distribution Company in the Huddersfield area (HD1).
This is a permanent, full-time role, and an excellent opportunity to join a well established, expanding business. There is no cold calling involved; this is business to business. The company is based in a modern, open planned office environment, based close to Huddersfield Town Centre.
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Dealing with inbound enquiries, aiming to answer the phone within 3 rings
- Creating quotations from inbound enquiries and converting them to sales
- Building a rapport with regular clients to ensure repeat business
- Ensuring that all parts orders are efficiently and accurately processed
- Ensuring that all stock purchase records are correctly maintained
- Communicating and logging any discrepancies of stock with the Parts Manager
- The successful parts advisor will also achieve sales by promoting parts and associated promotions to potential customers
The bonuses are based upon call volumes and written business.
Hours:
- Monday to Friday, 08.00am-16.00pm,
- Alternate Saturday mornings on a rota
Salary:
- GBP21k basic annual salary
- Bonuses of GBP3k-GBP5k per annum based upon call volumes, number of calls answered, and amount of quotations turned into business.
- Guaranteed bonus for the first 3 months
Potential candidates will need to have a confident and polite telephone manner, good organisational skills, and previous experience in the automotive industry would be a distinct advantage.
