We are delighted to be working in partnership with this exceptional higher education establishment in our area, who are seeking to recruit a fantastic Market Insights Coordinator.

This is a permanent role, working 35hrs a week• Mon-Friday (with occasional evening and weekend work)• Between 8am and 5pm• 26 days annual leave plus bank holidaysAnnual salary between GBP25K - GBP27K.

Role description:You will undertake market research initiatives to effectively inform the University's marketing activities and influence the development of the University offer.The role brings the voice of the customer into the business providing data and analytics to informUniversity decision making at the most senior levels.

The ultimate aim is to generate and provide University management with actionable market andcompetitive insights to help them achieve its goals, including aggressive student recruitment targets.

As our Market Insight Coordinator you will work closely with the schools to monitor their respectivemarkets and generate insight through primary research alongside external agencies and secondaryresearch through published sources. You will be flexible in your approach and be able to adapt yourtechniques to suit the demands of the business.This position will develop the University's first customer segmentation strategy and work with thewider team to ensure it shapes all marketing activities. You will also work closely with the Head ofMarketing in developing the University brand in 2022 and beyond.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing.Key tasksDevelopment and implementation of key market research and customer insight activities to shapeproduct and pricing strategies, marketing activities relating to customer behaviours and attitudes,student load, projects, and provide advice on future market trends and intelligence.

Conduct market research, review data sources and work with external agencies to gather insightsand data to inform the market research and customer insights strategy.

Develop and deliver detailed market research reports and customer insight analysis to keystakeholders across the University with the aim to influence and inform.

Strong communication skills to effectively inform a wide range of University stakeholders.Consult closely with the schools to address their research and reporting needs, as appropriate.

Make informed recommendations on key Marketing and University activities relating to corebusiness and strategic projects and identify future trends and opportunities.

Communicate across the Marketing department to coordinate efforts, facilitate cross functionalinvolvement and learning, and encourage ongoing improvement.

Other duties as directed by management commensurate with the scope and classification of theposition.
