Our client who is a mid-sized consultancy has dedicated themselves to sustainable solutions for the built environment throughout their projects at the same time providing exceptional levels of service within the building services engineering design sector.

This consultancy has offices up and down the country but is now looking to set up a new design studio and design team in Nottingham to continue the delivery of outstanding quality of design across a diverse variety of projects spread across a wide range of sectors. They use their industry-specific knowledge to always be able to provide an innovative and professional service within their field and now have an exciting opportunity for a Senior mechanical engineer to join their welcoming and experienced team. This is a specialised team all working towards an industry-leading experience throughout all their projects to create a highly efficient service to their clients.

The successful engineer should pride themselves on their ability and have the drive to always work up to their highest standards. You will be technically able with regards to Mechanical system designs within a variety of building types. You will have strong communication skills to ensure the project's completion from start to finish. Competent working knowledge of industry-specific software.

Senior Mechanical Design Engineer Requirements:

  • The ownership of a Mechanical engineering or building services degree.
  • A minimum of 8-10 years experience within an M&E consultancy.
  • Capable of the technical design of Mechanical systems.
  • Knowledge of RIBA Plan of Work
  • Working knowledge of Hevacomp, AutoCad, IES.
