Poverty Programme Manager
Fixed Term –2 Years - Full Time – 35 Hours
We have big goals over the next few years.
We’re going to be fighting for mental health in a way we never have before.
Together we’ll be working to make sure everyone experiencing a mental health problem gets the support and respect they deserve.
Will you join us?
People with mental health problems are more like to end up in poverty. And people who live in poverty are more likely to have mental health problems. As part of Mind’s new strategy, launched in April 2021, we have set out a significant ambition to break the link between mental health and poverty. Our vision is an integrated system of support that recognises how mental health is a lived reality for people in poverty, and works hard to be relevant for people experiencing poverty. To reach this vision, we will use our current financial poverty-focused work as a springboard to create initiatives that will be embedded throughout Mind’s ‘business as usual’ operations.
The aim of this exciting role is to continue the development and delivery of mental health programmes with our partners Trussell Trust and Citizen’s Advice. We will work with these partners (and others) to share learning and generate new ideas to help address the most complex issues and injustices in the mental health system.
Closing date: 8th June 2022
