Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience with managing Traffic Management works, including 2 way light set-up, road closures and no parking cone set-up
- Ability to work independently and work as part of a team
- Microsoft Office skills
- Confident and proficient with technology
- Lantra trained highly desirable
- Interest in FTTP/FTTH
- Set-up and take down Traffic Management for Contractors working on behalf of my client
- Set-up and manage 2 way lights, road closures and no parking cones
- Assist the Construction Supervisors with any Traffic management issues
- Transfer of materials from supplier to depots
- Attend any site visits with third parties as requested by the Street Works and Noticing Manager
- Promoting improvements in Safety in line with the objectives set by the SHEQ Manager
- Conduct safe working practices at site at all times, ensuring any safety concerns are reported to the Safety Team
- Any ad-hoc duties as directed by the Street Works and Noticing Manager
The Opportunity:
My client are an emerging and respected telecommunications company who are currently on the lookout for a Traffic Management Engineer on a permanent basis. The key focus of this role will be to co-ordinate the traffic management process in a timely and proactive manner with maximum efficiency and to work collaboratively within the Construction Department. A full UK Driving License is essential for this role.
