The Manufacturing Production Operative Role:

The Manufacturing Production Operative can work in a variety of different roles within manufacturing either working to pack the product in a direct role or supporting packing ops by turning Raw Material into finished product.

This is an exciting opportunity for an energetic person who can follow instructions and understands how to fill in paperwork . You'll gain experience in working in a production facility and will learn to adapt to a variety of different situations in our fast paced environment.

Typical duties of an operative will include:

+ Working on a Manufacturing line in a clean and hygienic environment to create blends, pack, seal and date+ Ensuring products meet Manufacturing quality standards+ Ensuring correct procedures are followed for all builds from material used to weight check compliance and labelling standards+ Ensuring resources are used efficiently to achieve maximum daily output and assisting in the continuous operation of the line through support of all team members+ Keeping machines supplied with materials and labels+ Ensuring machine settings are correct for the product going through the line+ Ensuring raw materials are available and are ready for use for the manufacturing process+ Maintain high standards of good housekeeping and food hygiene; adhering to all aspects of the cleaning schedules and clean room standards+ Manufacturing monitoring data collection and analysis+ Ensuring process compliance

The successful candidates will have a selection of the following skills:

+ Experienced in working in a factory or engineering environment (food production or pharmaceutical desirable)+ Able to work accurately and efficiently under pressure+ A motivated team player able to achieve the department targets on a daily basis+ Proactive and confident approach towards work+ High level of literacy, numeracy and computer literacy skills, including Excel
