Wise Employment are currently recruiting for a positive and reliable Ticketing Supervisor for an exciting entertainment company based in the Plymouth area to be responsible for the operation of the Ticketing function. You will also provide support on the day to day running of the Ticket Store also facilitating ticket sales whether be over the phone or online. This is a permanent office/ venue based role located in Plymouth.
Your working hours will predominantly be afternoons and evenings on show days, if shift would start around 2pm and run until the main artist goes on stage (typically anytime between 7:30pm - 10pm). So you would need to be flexible.
Potentially earlier for earlier starting events.
Your hours of work will be fixed Monday - Friday 32hours. you will also be required to support cover for the Ticketing Coordinator during periods of absence.
Salary of GBP18,300k per annum
What your day will look like:
Responsibilities
This is an ever changing role day to day and is a very exciting environment, you will be required to ensure the delivery of all Ticket Store services to the highest possible standards of customer care and assisting the Sales and Marketing manager in achieving the departments financial goals and objectives and to take responsibility of staff supervision, motivation, Ticketing Agents 1-2-1's, training and development. You will be required to ensure the day to day compliance with all company financial and security procedures and utilising the CRM software, ensuring the delivery of data and reports. You will be working as a key holder to ensure that the companies procedures and policies relating to issuing, sales and audit trails are carried out. Within this role you will be working closely with the sales and marketing manager throughout to assist in developing and maintaining various systems and come up with new ways to drive income through upselling portfolio of products. You will also assist the Sales & Marketing Manager in dealing with, and responding to, customer complaints, both in person and in writing, in a confident and informative manner.
Experience required:
Experience of working in a similar events role, knowledge of the live events industry and a Degree is desirable but not essential
Experience in a client facing role.
Excellent level of IT Skills (Windows software, Ticketing Software.)
Able to work to tight deadlines and under pressure.
You will need to have strong communication skills both written and verbal. A good understanding of client and customer care with the experience of scoping and delivering the needs of clients.
Excellent time keeping and an organised keen eye for detail is essential within this role!
As this is an ever changing role within your activities day to day you will need to have concise multi-tasking skills.
