Salary: £18,393 - £18,761 per annum

We are looking to recruit an energetic and creative Technician to support our photography and media programmes at the Bridgwater Campus. The role will be focused on ensuring high quality resources are available to students and supporting the teaching team in being able to deliver sessions that are dynamic, inspiring and outstanding. The Technician role is diverse and ever-changing – no two days are the same!

The successful candidate will be enthusiastic and passionate about learning and be able to demonstrate a clear focus on enhancing student experience within an exciting, vibrant and highly creative department. You will be able to support students individually, carry out skills demonstrations as required and work alongside teaching staff to ensure all learners make outstanding progress across the diverse range of study programmes we deliver.

This role will predominately work alongside the Photography and Media team and will undertake responsibilities to ensure that Health and Safety is universally excellent but also to support learners in workshop settings.

The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring that all studios, classrooms and workrooms are well presented and prepared for taught sessions and will also support students in their learning. The successful candidate will work within the Creative Arts technician team and be an innovative, organised and proactive team member.
