HR Officer (Fixed Term Contract) - Oxford - GBP30k to GBP35k - (21221)
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR Officer to join a world leading organisation and make a significant contribution to the ongoing development and delivery of a professional HR service.
HR Officer Responsibilities
This position will involve, but will not be limited to:
Support the delivery of the general HR function, within a close-knit team of two, for a large and diverse community of staff
Manage case work including sickness, absences and disciplinaries, supporting 160 employees and multiple departments
Oversee the recruitment and selection processes for support staff and provide advice regarding appointments as required
Update current policies and develop new policies with the HR Manager, assisting them with the deployment of these policies

The HR team is led by the HR Manager and supported by the HR Officer and Payroll Administrator, who provide a professional service to various senior colleagues and their staff.
HR Officer Essentials
You will be an experienced HR professional who has managed employee relations casework and will be able to hit the ground running. The successful candidate will be diligent, detailed orientated, hardworking, and resourceful. You will have excellent relationship building skills and the confidence to be proactive and take responsibility.
Location
Based in Central Oxford (OX1) with transport links and onsite parking available. Normal working hours are 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, starting at 9am and finishing at 5pm (flexible hours may be considered). This is a full-time office-based role.
