Assystem is proud to work in partnership with one of the UK's most prestigious nuclear defence manufacturing companies by providing talented temporary resource needed to deliver complex engineering projects.
Assystem are recruiting for an experienced Technical Administrator to work on our customers site in Derby on a contract basis.
Role Details:
Job title: Technical Administrator
Location: Raynesway, Derby
Sector: Nuclear and Defence
Hours: 37 hours per week
Duration: 6 months
Contract type: PAYE via Umbrella
Key Accountabilities include but are not limited to:
Raise QN Concession in SAP based on the instruction from a Manufacturing Engineer, enter all non-conformance data and update as required as additional data becomes available.
Raise Concession Design Proforma in Teamcenter based on the instruction from a Manufacturing Engineer, enter all non-conformance data and update as required as additional data becomes available.
Facilitate QN through the appropriate approvals to completion (including tracking progress and following up with approvers
Raise Q3 Conformance Query in SAP based on the instruction from a Manufacturing Engineer, enter all relevant data and defined instruction and update as required as additional data becomes available.
Raise QN Scrap in SAP based on the instruction from a Manufacturing Engineer.
Raise QN Rework in SAP based on the instruction from a Manufacturing Engineer.
Modify technical instructions (editorial changes) based on instruction from Manufacturing Engineer.
Workflow modified technical instructions to approvers and document control.
Data input/manipulation in MS Excel
Data reviews for SARs, 8Ds
What we are looking for in applications:
Able to demonstrate responsibility for timely completion of regular tasks
Possess an ability to be fully conversant with IT packages including Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel
Knowledge and working experience of SAP
Proficient Teamcenter user and CAPP Author
**Security clearance**
This role requires the successful candidate to hold a minimum of a Security Check (SC) clearance without any caveats to that clearance.
Due to the nature of work this role will be delivering and for the protection of certain assets, the successful candidate has to be a UK national or in MoD approved cases a Dual National from a non-ITAR country
