Laboratory Analyst
East Midlands Airport

Our client is seeking applications from candidates to join their COVID testing Lab in the East Midlands Airport. These positions would be trained in one of the key areas of the COVID Processing Lab. These include Extraction, PCR and QPCR. Full training is provided so it not essential to have previous experience in any of these areas. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on lab experience.

These roles are temporary initially with a view to going permanent for those available long term. Our client can consider those who are still studying who want to gain hands on lab experience as well as those who are graduating soon or have already graduated with a science related degree.

As the labs are open 24:7, our client needs candidates who can commit to working a rota that will include working blocks of day shifts and nights. Please confirm this on your covering letter or CV.

These roles will be based at a new lab in the East Midlands Airport.

The Candidate:
Essential:


- Have graduated in a Science related subject.
- Excellent organisational skills.

- Ability to interpret and analyse data.

Desirable:

- Excellent Pipetting skills.
