About the Role

We’re looking to recruit an Inventory Manager to join our team in Blackburn to create and implement a robust framework across all inventoried items to ensure we achieve World Class accuracy across the whole Accrol Group and its multiple IT systems.

You will be responsible for the creation, documentation, training and implementation of a World Class, cycle and full end of month/year count processes across the Accrol Group for all raw materials, packaging and finished goods.You will have a hands-on approach day to day, coordinating and managing the daily counts processes ensuring procedures are followed, systems are updated and discrepancies investigated and resolved, implementing corrective actions as required.

This is an exciting new role that requires a proactive and motivated attitude to ensure we achieve World Class accuracy.

About You

Educated to A-level or equivalent to be inclusive of Maths and English, you will have excellent IT skills, ideally an advanced user level Microsoft Excel or equivalent, must have previous experience of Inventory Management, with a can-do positive attitude and the ability to remain calm under pressure. With a flexible approach to working hours in this fast-paced environment, you’ll need to be able to effectively adapt your communications skills, keeping a professional manner at all times.

Ideally, the right candidate will have a qualification in Supply Chain / Control and be a member of a professional body such as IOCSM.They must have knowledge of cycle count methodologies and inventory control techniques and be passionate about delivering high quality outcomes.

This role is based at the Blackburn Head Office, Roman Road, Blackburn but will cover all sites.
